Don't Fear the Reaper by Michelle Muto6/21/2023 That isn't the case at all. This is an exceptional read with real emotions packed on nearly every page. I could go on, but then you would think that this wasn't a good book. There was no mention of counseling even though her sister was murdered. more people have to think about their living children. Who would leave a girl who had a history of drug abuse alone in a house with prescription pills? I know they were grieving too, but at some point. All I have to say is where were her parents? The only issue I had with this book was with Keelie's absent parents. She just lost her sister (identical twin), who was murdered and couldn't deal with the pain of her death. Not only did I feel sorry for Keelie in that opening scene, I ached for her.If you've ever felt despair or know someone who has, you'll probably connect with Keelie. Michelle Muto is a talented author that captured the feelings of grief exquisitely. When I read the first chapter of this book I not only cried, I bawled. Review 1: I really hate to cry, so I usually avoid reads that I know will get me all teary eyed.
